A Mandal born in Corbusier's city
When it comes to recollecting how the present Maharashtra Mandal of Chandigarh came into existence, memory dates back to 1961–62, when Sh. Kaka Sahib Gadgil — a Maharashtrian himself — was Governor of joint Punjab, and a handful of Marathi families would gather for Dussehra and Makar Sankranti.
